Connecting AV, IT and AI to build smarter learning environments—that’s where Faisal Khalil is focused today.

With more than a decade of experience at Qatar University, his journey has evolved from enterprise networking and connected infrastructure to AV-over-IP, smart classrooms, hybrid learning and AI-enabled learning environments.

As Head of Audio Visual Support Services, Faisal leads the development of future-ready learning and collaboration spaces. He has delivered 30+ major AV projects and contributed to the technology modernization of classrooms, alongside integrated platforms for Digital Signage, IPTV, Room Booking and Queue Management.

His current focus is on transforming conventional classrooms into intelligent, connected and adaptive learning spaces through AI, smart content capture, intelligent recording, centralized management and data-driven technologies.
